About
My name is Amphi, nice to meet you!
"How long have you been doing this?"
I always fumble with this question and laugh awkwardly, think about it for a few suspenseful moments while humming an "Uhmmmm", and always end up with a cautious: "forever?"

Art has been part of my life since I was young. I've drawn since I could hold a pencil; learned oil painting when I was ten years old; explored digital art and photomanipulation when I was 13 (with the good ol' retired Corel Paint Shop Pro Studio). Since I was young I've always been curious about different mediums, and adore going between them all, changing my style, and exploring new realms. It's what lead to my art businesses' little motto: Unapologetically Unbranded Art.

I've been working in the publishing realm for the past several years, where I started off mainly working on typography. My first book I worked on was "Can't Spell Treason Without Tea" by Rebecca Thorne (and I later got to re-design the typography when she went to traditional publishing!). Since then I've had the honor of working with so many wonderful authors, as well as publishers, helping to bring books to life with a stylistic title, illustrations to adorn the interior, or even the entire cover itself.

I still work on traditional art, and enjoy going to markets to sell paintings, prints, and apparel that I've created -- but working on books holds a very special place in my heart. Fellow creatives helping one another to make each other's dreams come true, and put art and stories out into the world -- truly, what bigger honor could there be?

Amphi was born and raised in the textured deserts of Arizona, a landscape she cherishes dearly. She adores animals and has had many beloved creatures, including cats, snakes, bearded dragons, ferrets, and chickens. She loves being outside and gardening. Along with art, she also loves to write.
She is on an adventure to live intentionally, and is exploring different places to call home. Currently, she has found herself in the North Shore, trading cactus wrens for seagulls for the time being.

Amphi will never use AI in any of her art, designs, or stock; she believes that human artists support human authors!
